Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played in the playpen as I was working 12-hour shifts in sanding floors as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! All was starting to come together but we weren't anywhere near finished. To furnish the home it would take a lot of effort both in budget and time. It was also going to be a challenge to go out and shop for my most-loved items. My sons, my husband and I were looking for the hidden treasures going to estate sales in order to help ensure that my spending was under control. Every week, we would walk through estate sales and garage sales on Saturdays and Thursdays and purchase a variety of new and old pieces. Then I would spend the rest of my time painting and sanding outside in our driveway. What I saw looked something similar to... This is when my desire to repair furniture began. After our home was fully furnished, I could not quit! I had a space in the market at my local location and also sold items there. In the end, I had lots of pieces, I didn't have a clue what to do with them and outgrew the space. More than 1000 people came to my home over the course of a weekend to buy all the things on the ground. Growing Days was created in the home. While my company grew as did our family. The balance was between the start of a company and becoming a mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. The year was 2013, and my lovely daughter Nora was born. She is our fourth kiddo. My business was booming but I was in need of a break. I made the decision to take some break from my antique furniture and slow down to remain at home with the kids. It was the ideal thing to do. It was only after several months when the phones began to be ringing. I was getting calls from people asking me for help in home improvement and design of interiors. The majority of them had visited my house at the open houses that were held for furniture. After that, I gradually took on clients in my own way. Then I was able to have many clients, and had an enterprise of renovations to homes. It would have probably made me laugh if I had told you that this was going to be the subject of an DIY Network tv series. If I think back, it still makes me laugh.
